Story:
The young, aspiring ballerina Nina gets the dual role of her life: In "Swan Lake" is intended to cover both the innocent white and the black swan demon incarnate. While it is the perfect choice for the white swan, she must learn for the counterpart of the figure to let go and bring forth the dark side in himself. Driven by the charismatic artistic director Thomas Leroy she tries desperately to overcome their blocks. Of all the attractive new colleague Lily has all that Nina seems to be missing. Nina threatens the very role of Lily to lose?
Nina's growing desperation, and it triggers a liberating and self-destructive process, in which blurred the boundaries between illusion and reality. But despite all the dangers Nina is driving her preparations for the premiere of the play more - because they count for only one thing: perfection. Quote:

Conclusion:
A great movie of a captivating from beginning to end. Mainly by Natalie Portman's representation of the more paranoid expectant Nina.
